Eaton to Defend World Indoor Title

Decathlon star and IAAF World Athlete of the Year Ashton Eaton confirmed he defend his World Indoor heptathlon title in Portland, USA next March.

"We're going to definitely do that. It's a great lead-in to the outdoor season. Portland is where I was born. I've never done (a multi-event competition) there. I'm excited we don't have to travel very far, and the fans there can get exposed to some big-time track and field," he confirmed in an interview with Portland Tribune.
