58 Athletes to Represent Team USA at Portland 2016USATF Release PORTLAND, Oregon – Seven World Indoor Championships medalists, including two-time defending heptathlon champion Ashton Eaton (Bend, Oregon), highlight Team USA’s roster for the IAAF World Indoor Championships – Portland 2016. In total, 58 athletes will represent the red, white and blue at the Oregon Convention Center, March 17-20. Joining Eaton in their championship defense are 60-meter hurdles gold medalist Nia Ali (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), 4x400m world record holders Kyle Clemons (Jonesboro, Arkansas) and Calvin Smith (Lutz, Florida), and 4x400m relay gold medalist Natasha Hastings (Brooklyn, New York). 42 universities and 24 states are represented in total, and there are 18 global medalists competing for the U.S. in Portland.
